Christmas!

Nov 30, 2006 21:49

I can't believe it. December is almost here! I've started playing all those classic Christmas carols on my music cube. I just love those songs! I've been blaring the music -- it's a good time to practice my silencing charms, since Par and I are going to have a huge New Year's Eve bash here! I hope that I can perfect the silencing charms before ( Read more... )

All right, Lav?

I AM SO INTO CHRISTMAS!

I like Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney. That counts, right?

You're going to be in Paris? All throughout Christmas? When are you leaving? How long are you going to be there for? I didn't know your father and sister lived in Paris - where? How are we supposed to celebrate Christmas together if you're not here? Does this mean we have to, like, exchange gifts early? I haven't even thought about shopping yet.

Write me!

Colin!! That's great! I love Christmas too. The songs, and gingerbread -- gingerbread is so great, isn't it?! And peppermint, too!

Wait -- hexes and jinxes! -- Colin, where have you BEEN?!

I don't think I know that song -- you'll have to sing it to me!

Yeah- all through Christmas. Dunno when I'll be going, it depends on how I get there. It's too far for me to apararte, so I've got to either find some way to get there by floo or find someone to take me by broom! Or something. Dunno yet! But I've promised my Dad, and so -- Uh, they're with my Great Aunt. My sister works in Paris as a Seer -- she's got great talent, and -- Presents! Yes! Early! Perfect! Dunno how long I'll be there. Christmas together?! And --

Colin, where have you been!? It's been ages and -- How are you!?

Peppermint and lights and PRESENTS and Burl Ives and ornaments...the list goes on and on, yeah?

I've been busy busy busy, you know? Kinda starting my own business in a way. Gone solo on the photo-taking business, and you know, still working at H & A. Lost the job at Hex Me Up. Don't ask.

Okay, you can ask, but its a long story.

Other than that, I'm cool.

You can always like, cross the Channel in a boat, Lav...

Oooo....Sister Seer. Can she read my fortune? Now I want to go to Paris. I've never been there. I don't think I have enough money, though.

But yeah, we need to get together! When?

Yes!! I can't believe it's coming so soon! I -- I need to get Par to help me set up a tree! Did you know I moved out of the Leaky? Well, it got attacked so I had to, but now I'm living just a stone's throw away from it -- not that I'd throw a stone. That'd be mean. But it's really close and it's with Parvati Patil and we have so much fun!

I want to know about Hex Me Up! I've been there a few times but you were never there.. I didnt really want to ask the lady because she probably would have thought that I fancied you.

You've never taken MY picture. Well, except when you used to snap at ANYTHING that moved back at Hogwarts. That was funny.

Oooh, yeah. I reckon I could do that. Heehee! Silly me!

Yeah, Zinnia could totally read your fortune! If you come I'll make her do it for free. She works at a pretty class place. It smells much nicer than Trelawny's and the poofs are much more comfy. She's always sending me start charts and all that.

YES! Let's get together really soon Colin, totally! We have to. We ( ... )

I really like "Baby It's Cold Outside" by that Muggle musician James Taylor.

I can help with the silencing charms for the flat if it comes to it. I'm decent with those anyway.

My mum's sending me a bunch of my grandmother's old Christmas decorations. We'll have to get a tree soon!

OOoooh! Yeah! I like that one too! You should sing it more.

Yes -- silencing charms. We've got to keep Mr. Aldis neutered, you know.

Perfect! Are they like .. Indianish? That'd be really neat! And we've got to get a tree... I can't wait to have a tree! I just love the smell of them, Par! Maybe I'll get a baby one for my room -- one for LOLA! That'd be cute, wouldn't it?!

Maybe we could sing at our party, together! That would be fun.

Of course. I swear, he gives me a dirty look every morning I leave for work and every night I come back, muttering something about fouling up the place with animal smell.

If they're the ones I'm thinking of, they do have an Indian flair. They're really colourful. I've got some childhood ornaments in our attic somewhere. I'll get them and we can use some on our tree as well.

You could decorate it with carrots!

Auld Lang Syne, because it means the excuse for idiocy, mayhem, greed, and general false-cheer in the name of avarice is over for another year.

Professor Snape?

Well, that's something to look forward too, I guess.
