Hmm... can't think of any pilot episodes that stick in my memory. Possibly the X-Files? Yeah. That really made me think, "Wow, this series is different. Wonder where it's going to go from here?"

Day 22 - Favourite series finale

Angel.

The last episode of Season 5 of Buffy would be my second choice, because while I liked the actual series finale, and episodes of 6 and 7 were certainly worth continuing the series for, "She Saved The World - A Lot" would have been a magnificent way to go.
