I don't know what to say as I've got my own set of similar OH foibles to deal with. And we would hope these men know us better than this.

You could always hint and say you prefer really homemade Valentine's cards--like the ones Tubblet would make, unless the OH is allergic to glitter. Or an icon of St. Valentine.
