it's hilarious to me that this is the shit we're geeking out about when we wind up in social settings disclaiming to everyone that 'we're talking about work.' it's so good though! thanks!!! i'm sending this to my mom.

Actually I would go so far as to say that this should be required watching for any boss or manager out there.

All of the pitfalls they mention are things I've had to constantly overcome myself -- and watched as bosses and managers have failed to overcome said pitfalls and continue to flail about in their failures.

The thing I've said to every manager or lead I've ever had to manage, "Your #1 job is to make the jobs of the people you manage easier so that they can be more effective."

I suspect you're really very good at that.
