one time, in august before senior year, i.e. when max and i had been dating for 8 months, matt simms, i.e. one of max's best friends and someone who I THOUGHT knew me pretty well by that point, asked eva if i was a lesbian.

some people have weird memories.

Being Friends is so, so hard, which you probably already know, because things get better and then they get worse and then they get better and then they get worse and you start to wonder if it'll ever actually get better and stay that way.

it will. and it's so incredibly worth it when it does.
