You have to watch out when you lean on publishers of satire...WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- The White House is not amused by The Onion, a newspaper that often spoofs the Bush administration, and has asked it to stop using the presidential seal on its Web site.
They can always become more vulgar...

Part of me is moderately upset that they had to add "(bin Laden)" after Osama. Dude, have we *completely forgotten* about the guy who killed 3k Americans? That's more than have died in Iraq! Then again, it's probably in Reuter's best interests to add it, just so people named Osama don't write them angry letters.

Hurm. Just noticed that in the CNN text but I'm surprised that they didn't use what is the normal convention--brackets. Including the "bin Laden" parenthetically is typical news convention. I do it when I partially quote someone. Now it's unlikely, granted, but possible from context that the speaker could have meant Osama bin Omar or Osama bin Abdullah.
