"Montezuma" by Fleet Foxes: a year end survey

1. Did you enjoy any good sunsets? Yes. In late summer there were wildfires, and the horrible smoke that congested the area for weeks made for some spectacular sunsets.
2. Who did you meet and what did you like about them? I met some cool people through Noel, and through the LCE. Artists working under all sorts of circumstances, but getting stuff done.

Rereading this, I also want to remember meeting another creator, whose book was a monsterous hit this year, at Olympia, and she and Noel hit it off right away and talked for as long as they were able. Later at Short Run, I ran into her, and wound up singing a bit of a Jethro Tull song for her, as a test of personal artistic bravery.

I couldn't even read it all because of the green guy! Do you mean that creepy weird alien that looks like the Roswell aliens but was never even a character on Star Trek? That thing freaks me out so bad!

That guy used to scare me into screaming fits. Later, when I watched the show he appeared in, he wasn't so scary.

I don't remember that episode! The other aliens that freaked me out were from the pilot episode. The ones with the throbbing heads. They reminded me of my grandma!
