"Some good-byes are better left alone," Parker agreed. "And the more lead time, the better." She almost misses being the Manager again, thinking about it. "But hey. You still have time this summer to get another band together, if you want to. Or you could have one in L.A., while you're there for school." She grinned. "All the cool kids have a college band, you know."

Parker snickered and said, "Well, it's cool. If there weren't a school as good as USC right there, I'd say forget it, even if there is a really cool guy who lives there. But since there is a school, and a guy-- there's no bad, is there?" She grinned. "Any idea when you're going to decide?"

"Well, yeah," Parker had to agree. Especially considering that most of hers left the planet after hooking up with her. "Even given May Anarchy and Racky. Maybe *especially* given them. No reason to jump the gun just yet." She paused. "New York is three hours closer to England, though. Just so you remember."
