Hey, guys

Usually I posted previews and other comics-related stuff on newly_legion community. But recently the community rules have changed, and now all posts there have to pass moderation.
I don't know if it's the owner's decision or LJ's new rule - but, to avoid waiting for moderation, I created a new comm, buffycomics. So far, I posted preview for Buffy #2 there.

Oh, I love A&F - great art and a story that grabs interest since the very first issue. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

BTW, I plan to post A&F-related stuff in the new comm, too.

Сходила-посмотрела-подчитала buffycomics :)))))В принципе совершенно спокойна к комиксам, но тут вдруг почувствовала, что хоть так, но всё равно они наши, правильные... Эээх!

Девятый сезон, скорее всего, будет спаффским. Хотя, конечно, ничего хорошего это нашим героям не сулит. Если они останутся в платонических отношениях, тогда все может быть довольно мило, но если дойдет до секса... мы все знаем, как жестоко карает Джосс. Evil bastard. :)

Мне по большому счету любопытно, куда Джосс собирается повести отношения Баффи и Спайка. С Ангелом понятно - до комиксов он был у Баффи всем, но еще не был ее врагом. Сделали врагом. А со Спайком еще труднее - он был и врагом, и другом, и любовником, и "язвительным соседом". Но раз Джосс его оставил при Баффи, а не отправил в "Ангела", значит, у него есть идеи. Посмотрим-с. :)

Всё, что я знаю о комиксе, пришло от тебя. Я практически им не интересовалась - чужое для меня, а раз чужое - веду страусиную политику - так спокойнее. С удовольствием посотрела то, что ты прислала пару месяцев назад... и сейчас тоже - интересны чисто вербальные выкладки.
Действительно интересно, как Джосс будет играть со своими игрушками дальше...

The moderation could be to avoid spammers. I remember one of my comments on one of your posts being moderated because it contained a link. It seems now the same applies to posts.

Yes, it's possible. For Buffycomics, I set up the option of "not moderating". I think we're not big enough to attract spammers.

I don't buy the comics, but do peek between my fingers at my flist talking about them. So I'll check out this new community. The only thing I love about the comics is the wonderful fan fiction that springs from it. I do love some of the comics artists' work, but others tend to make the characters look too young for me to believe in them.

I think new season will be Spike-friendy, and you may get interested. I know that many people dislike what happens to Buffy - but I rather enjoy the story. I agree about the art, though - Jeanty's style is not my cup of tea.
