LOL! I love how it's nom'd as Best Het and it just recently won Best Gen.

I feel like I'm in the same predicament with you regarding Thought You Should Know--that it could be nominated for both Best Het and Best Gen.

The "het or gen" question is a hard one. I think that TYSK has started as a shippy fic, but gradually became a more general story, without losing its complex shippy aspects.

I wonder how the actual TV show should be categorized? It's a gen story, but the ships are the most fascinating aspect of it - at least, to me.
