Sounds familiar... is it a book? If so, I think I may have read it before. :)

Yes, it's a book. Tells a good bit about Mary (?) Boylen, Anne's sister, who was one of Henry's mistresses, and bore him at least one son, which was a selling point for marrying Anne...

I figured it was about Mary. I've actually been on a Henry-and-wifes-and-daughters kick lately through Netflix, too... there are quite a few BBC productions that are very cool.

I just watched one that had Helena Bonham Carter as Anne Boleyn. Since I'm not actually a fan of Anne Boleyn herself (I tend to feel more sympathy for Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves) and I can't stand Helena Bonham Carter, it was nice to get to see her bite it. ;)

Every time I walk by his cube I get the song "With Her Head Tucked Underneath Her Arm" running through my head.

"How the heck am I suppose to know just who you are ...?"

Oddly enough, that's the first thing that popped into my head when I read this post too.

Interesting.

And odd that this should happen now, because I happened to mention Anne Boleyn in the most recent episode of Cow Chip & Lance (on page 13, but you may have to read the whole story to get it).

The part that concerns me is "Not many people know of her." Er ... are most people really that ignorant? Wait, never mind ... please don't answer that! I suspect I already know.
