Summary: A simple, quiet conversation between lovers.
Author's Note: This is quick ‘n’ dirty (for definition see the F. A. Q.).
It felt very right to simply write a softer moment for these two, something happier and simple. Especially after writing more serious stories of late!

She lies along him and her hand rests near his shoulder. The back of his fingers stroke her cheek, smoothing away non-existent straying errant strands of dark hair. He cannot help but touch her as she meets his gaze; her soft skin under his callused fingers. It shows the contrast of their lives.
His other arm closes about her waist; she smiles, soft and sweet. “Man anírach cerin an le?”
“Le no an-uir nîn?”
He studies her for long moments, grey eyes meeting hers. “That,” he whispers, “is an unfair question to which you already know the answer.”
She catches his hand and kisses his palm gently. “Le no an-uir nîn?”
“Tancave.”
Softly, her hand rests against his cheek after letting his hand go. “Le melon,” she murmurs against his lips.
He releases a long breath. “Le melon,” he replies and, leaning up, his lips meets hers.
