Just a quick post as I'm still very hung over from yesterday's Christmas celebrations! The next part of Four Hundred Days is up for your reading pleasure - as always R&R!
hiding his grin in her hair at the fear he sensed from the other two occupants in the room. <- I can totally see Spike doing that. in my mind, its so adorable, and I guess it was in yours too.
can't wait for more, and I love Mary. I am starting to like Ackerton as well, but its a slow process (lol).
First - glad about the update! I found the chapter at you LJ first - this time. So I'll comment here :)) I always love the Spuffyness - that will never cease (I hope) Then the Watcher going all watcherly - that was fun (In awe of all the books). And than - Spike going to watch is Mate's back - just awesome cute. And a Watcher not knowing mating? Duh, he has a lot of reading to do. But he'll have enough books at hand therefore *smile* Cordykitten
Getting caught up with this story - started from chapter 15 through the current chapter. I had totally forgotten what wonderful reading this story is. Now don't get insulted - all your stories are wonderful but this one is charming and eloquent on its own.
I love how you can make your readers become lost in the story and feel comfortable in it while reading. Your ability to use the right words and phrases has me slightly jealous but also in awe.
I look forward to reading more - thanks for the update and glad to have spent an afternoon in the company of the characters.
I'm really glad you feel that way - I think that envelopment is the goal of every writer (definately the ones I know) so to get confirmation that I'm finally getting there is wonderful! Thank you!
Another update later this week...though I'm trying to write something extra for Christmas, I'm not sure it'll be done yet :( But I have definately plans for Christmas Eve!
Great chapter. It's too funny to think that Ackerton did not even know what a mate was, but up until then, I doubt that the Watchers Council had really mentioned this at the time. I'm looking forward to more.

Mary is fun...I sort of see her as an odd cross between many characters, glad it's working.
More next week :D
