He showed some people the promo trailer they've put together to show to the networks they're trying to get interested. From the sounds of it, there's a chance SciFi might pick up the show, because apparently Harry said that if that happens, they'll be relocating

So if Mick and Josef have to move to NYC, that would mean no names and new state-ups. I like the idea of this. Only that means Beth either gets turned or she moves to NY.

Yay! This sounds promising. It's really brightened up my day. And it's so cool that they're considering going the way of Firefly; if they can't get another season out of it, they'll go to feature film! *Squee* Either way, the possibility is good that Moonlight isn't just going to end where it was left. This is so AMAZING!!! And I'm LOVING the plans for next season. It sounds so amazing and brilliant. It looks like L.A. vampires are going to be put on the Endangered Species list soon...Dun dun dun! Let's just hope they don't get put on the extinct species list. Anyway, thanks for the info. Will continue to fight to see this happen!

I had a feeling they might look into doing a movie if the show didn't come back.
With that idea, I reckon that'd be pretty kick-ass too.

I know I'm a big dork for replying to my own post, but WHATEVER:

When they say they would be moving production to NYC, does that mean the show would take place in NY or that the entire production (cast, crew, sets) are moving to NY to save money ala Ugly Betty?

It's less money to shoot in NYC because there's a 35 percent tax credit. Basically, NY is providing cheaper rent. Bad news is most of the CA crew will probably lose their jobs.
