I got a haircut yesterday evening. It's a little shorter than I originally intended. Actually, it's kind of boyish... in a pretty sort of way... maybe? In fact, it is strangely similar to the guy girl in my icon.
Honestly, it wasn't my intention to resemble Go Eun-chan... it just sort of happened.
By the way, haircuts in Korea are very inexpensive. -

I finally have a Korean cellphone! Yay!!! It's so cute... and fancy. My dinky little tracfone back in the States is like a rotary phone compared to this. Maybe, I'll post pictures of it... when it's not half- past midnight ( Read more... ) -
Seoul, South Korea: Day Two
So, it's my second day in South Korea. I woke up at 6:30ish in the morning and I surprisingly didn't feel the need to sleep longer. This might have been because I went to bed at nine last night (since I had been awake for about two days straight because of the trip there.) Plane Ticket Funtimes
So, after months of worrying about how I was going to buy $1000+ plane ticket before my financial aid would be available, I bought my round-trip ticket to Seoul. It turns out there's this handy thing called "Bill Me Later." I didn't think that I would be able to use such a service, since I'm kind of poor... but apparently I can. Study Abroad Update
I finally got my student visa a few days ago. Now all I really have to do is buy a plane ticket and pack. Buying plane tickets is a bit of an issue though because the price of the ticket is definitely over the limit of my credit card. TN Tech is refunding my airfare up to $1000, but since I really have no clue how overdraft charges work I'm wary of ( Read more... ) -

So, my trip to South Korea is almost official. I have a passport and my acceptance letter from Chung-Ang University. All that's really left is the visa and the plane ticket. And the packing, of course. I've kind of been slacking on getting my visa paperwork done. I guess it's a good thing that the Korean Embassy processes visa applications in about ( Read more... ) -

I should be finishing my short story for class tomorrow, but obviously I'm not.... At least, I was intelligent to make sure all my one page assignments leading up to this were bits and pieces of a potential story so about half of it is already written out.
