River had woken up on Tuesday morning with the feeling that she had forgot something. It wasn't until lunchtime that she'd remembered: she'd missed her birthday, which was yesterday. River was actually a little nervous about organising a party, but she was determined not to let it show. She'd dressed up nicely, but had forgot about her hair.

Blair was here, of course, and hoping that it was okay that he forgot his girlfriends birthday. After all, even she forgot.

River didn't have a problem with her boyfriend forgetting her birthday. She gave him a hug. "Blair!"

Blair hugged her back tightly, lifting her up a bit and swinging her in a circle. "You look beautiful."

There are popcorn, ice cream and chocolate cake. Beware, any food might be nicked by Berthold the tentacled monster if you get too close to Buffy's bed.

There is also fruit punch, of a strange colour, contents unknown.

After kissing River, Blair grabbed her hand and drug her over to the cake. "Now, I get my frosting covered reward."

"Chocolate cake is really the only way to go for birthday cakes." Blair nodded, taking a slice and handing it over to River. "Naomi tried carob wheat loaf one time and it just didn't seem like a celebration."

River has handwavily borrowed Buffy's CD player. She doesn't own any CDs though, so hopefully someone has brought some CDs. Otherwise you might get subjected to River playing the fiddle.

There isn't a lot of space, but dancing might be encouraged.

Parker popped in the CD that Chad made for her as a Christmas present, and spun in place.

River immediately joined her and began to dance. It would have benn nice to have more space, but they had to make do with what was available.

Berthold quickly made sure all his tentacles were under the bed.

Berthold the tentacled monster is hiding under Buffy's bed covered by a blanket. He's very shy, but can be tempted by food. He also eat clothes occasionally.
