Monsoon in Oxfordshire???

Well that's what it felt like today!   Torrential rain from the early hours....my 40 min drive into work took 1.5 hours...

.....but the rain didnt stop!  It carried on all day.

After I took a call at lunch time  from the only Mobile Library which was out on the road to tell me they were finding it hard to get back to base because of flooding I ( Read more... )

Cheers! Chaos at Banbury and Oxford too...and Didcot station was closed on Friday....although trains were running to Paddington this morning I have a feeling things may change later - more reports of flooding in Oxford, sounds as though the Thames is rising!

God almighty! Where is summer, my catch phrase this summer has been....Global warming, my arse! I'm bloody freezing. Our best week here in Ireland was when we were in Charleston - typical!!
