Roman Holiday is my favorite movie EVER! The last scene is so hopeful and painful at the same time. I keep waiting for her to walk out and call him back.

And Charade is a close second. And so cheap! I have Charade on dvd but my Roman Holiday is only VHS. I need to upgrade.

The ending frustrated me... but at the same time I didn't honestly expect them to end up together, and it was realistic. It was just sad D:

I saw Breakfast at Tiffany's quite a few years back and I think I've probably seen a few others starring Audrey Hepburn. I like watching older films, especially Gene Kelly ones, the old Pink Panther flicks, and The Graduate.

I think the ending is perfect. If they did end up together it would be too cheesy. I love that I wait with anticipation every time I watch even though I know what happens...it's pitch perfect! <3

I love Cary Grant myself. And Cary Grant in Alfred Hitchcock is really good...North by Northwest or Notorious.

Audrey Hepburn in To Catch A Thief is good too. And I loved the Pink Panther movies when I was a kid. My parents were really strict about what we were allowed to watch so I don't know any 80s movies but I've seen tons of old movies, especially musicals like The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. :-)

I think I saw Notorious for sale in the same rack so maybe I will go back and get it next time I'm in the city :)

I got started watching older movies around the time I was in high school, out of curiosity. I like watching them ^__^
