Songs that I listen to while writing!

In lieu of actually doing my homework, I thought I would make a post about some songs that I like to listen to while I'm writing. I would love to hear what other people like to listen to as well! I can't listen to anything too distracting or else I'll lose focus. So these are all songs that I love, but are mostly chill.

See, I already felt some kind of music connection with you because of Hanson...but now, it's even stronger! I am so pleased that you love a lot of these! It's seriously rare that I find people who are into the same kind of music as I am. Totally impressed right now.:D

I don't know how you listen to Damien Rice while writing. Even thought his stuff is pretty mellow I always get super emotional and want to sing along when I listen to anything of his. Lately one of my go to cds when I write is The Civil Wars Barton Hallow. I love that CD and while I want to sing along it doesn't really distract me from writing. I also listen to a lot of instrumental stuff like Balmorhea. I tried the Vitamin String Quartet but I just sing the song they are covering so it doesn't really help matters haha. I liked seeing what you like to listen to when you write. Thanks for sharing.

I think that's why I like to listen to him while I'm writing! Emotions definitely drive me creatively. OMG I loooove The Civil Wars! My mom actually introduced me to them. :D

I really like listening to instrumental things too. It's easy to zone out and feel peaceful whilst listening to them. I haven't heard of Balmorhea before! I'll have to check it out. And yes, haha singing along is always an issue with me.

They are! Omg, what are your favorite songs from them? I like 'Call it Off' "Where Does the Good Go?' and 'Nineteen' a lot. Though I enjoy most of their music :D
