Guideline #1:
Finish items 1-6 then work on 7 & 8 (and/or go out-n-about) until it's time to do 9 & 10. If I have to spend most of the day away from home, I must educate Ch-- (#7) while we are away and I have to at least make a swipe at writing (#8) before I go to bed. Eleven can be a night or morning activity but not both. Twelve is for late evening / bedtime. All other activities, including going into town to work or Mz D--'s house or to tend to extended family needs, should be sublimated to these 12 primary tasks.
Guideline #2:
The basic goal is to do most of these, more often than not. The Mission 101 goals (97 & 98) will be satisfied if I complete all 12 items on 20 days out of each month. (#97 one month and #98 three months) This is a change that reflects my inability to do ANYTHING for long strings of consecutive days.
Guideline #3:
In the check-in table at the bottom of this page, an X means that I tended to this task appropriately ... which means "as completely as needed". Sometimes 1-6 should just fly by. About once a week, items 1-6 will take the lion's share of my time and energy. A / mark means that I made an effort but that I didn't really accomplish that which needed to be accomplished on that day.
Guideline #4:
In certain columns, I might make specific code marks as follows:
e = errands
y = did at least the morning yoga
w = took at least a 10 minute walk
a = added steps to day deliberately
s = took a shower
b = took a bath
t = brushed teeth
j = wrote in journal
r = reading
l = library
P1 = period day one (full on) and so on with P2 etc.
a + means that I did this task exceptionally well
