I went to the Linux conference dinner tonight, with Ada and Rodger. It's weird to see people one hasn't set eyes on in over a decade. Even weirder when Rodger and I both know someone, but he doesn't know we're together (it's our fourteenth anniversary in a couple of months

Hmm... Sounds like that pink-purple haired woman was Liz Henry, based on a very roundabout set of comments from other friends on Facebook. Who I don't know, but someone just told me yesterday I should meet.

She was really, really lovely with Ada (and good to talk with). If you meet her, say hi from me. I had to leave our conversation before I wanted to, because my shoulder went into a painful cramp and I needed to get Ada back with her dad.
