I'm sorry that I don't update this more. Half the time, I really don't know what to say. There's been so much going on in my life lately between kids and school and my health and Haley's surgery

My father has had hearing aids his entire life...he was born without hearing...they didn't even catch it until he was in 2nd grade

have to totally agree with the above comment. You're still you and always will be no matter what. That said, I can only imagine what you're feeling, though you've expressed it so well. Did the hearing aids do any good or did you get to try them yet.

I know there are things out there that help, like things that will turn on a light when someone's at the door and things like that. It may not sound like fun to have to use things like that, but you're still you, just with the hearing loss and there's no reason not to utilize things that will make things better.
