Do the cats usually object when you change your sheets to different ones?

The recliner sounds actually pretty.

These were new sheets, so I thought they might notice. I do think the recliner will be nice, and I will be very happy to get up without killing my arms.

One of our local shops has installed these horrible "air freshener" machines -- I start to cough as soon as I walk in, and degenerate to feeling like there's insects crawling all over me in extremely short order. It's not quite the magnitude of your welts, but it'll keep me from ever shopping there :(

I'm glad your cats didn't get spooked by the sheets - the last time I got a new cat bed for mine, there was much sturm and drung while they jumped and poked and proded the DANGEROUS NEW THING!

The lift recliner sounds neat, and I'm picturing a fern-covered glade :)

I don't buy in stores often, but that would definitely keep me from going there, too.

Loki is frequently scared by new things and I thought just the new smell might scare him, but he doesn't mind. I've been thinking about cat beds for them, but they're both happy in/on the bed.

LOL Yeah, it fits the other green things in the living room, and I'm looking forward to it arriving.

You have been busy. And it sounds like your primary doc is a good one to figure things out like that.
Hope the new recliner/chair will help with the pain and that the thumb stops turning.
Take good care,
Doris

Yes, she's young, but seems to be willing to figure things out instead of just going by what she learned in college and hospital. The thumb won't stop turning -- I'll probably have others turn, too, and then have to use strap-on tools or someone to come help (Medicare will send someone). But I hope it doesn't go quickly!
