I think I finally have concocted a dish where I deserve to be called the Mad Genius of cooking. I believe that ingenuity has created many a tasty dish, so often when I have a hankering for something I just start looking through the cupboards, and see what I have on hand to flavor it. Basically I just pan-fried the salmon in butter and canola oil. When I dredged the salmon in flour, I used a lot of cracked pepper in there too.
After I finished the pan frying I cleaned the grease out with a paper towel and made the sauce with the 4 ingredients I used above, plus the raisins.
