Dwarfs in the Shire! I love it!

You slept right next to each other for months on the road! Which was true, but somehow it was different having Thorin in his home, in his bedroom--

Haha, such a sweet moment. Of course, it will take them a while until they realize why things are different at home. ;)

I'm looking forward to dwarfs navigating Hobbit social events. :D

Dwarves in the Shire just...shake everything up a bit and I love them. Luckily faux pas are going to be few and minor--it seems the Shire was in the mood for some entertaining odd visitors. *grin* Also, now that I think of it, the dwarves have come to respect Bilbo a lot more in this AU so they're more likely to be respectful of his home, that would explain their relative restraint and politeness. :)

You are, by far, making me love these characters honestly more than the Good Sir himself ever did. Thank you!

Bilbo was never at all my favorite, so I guess I have Freeman to blame for that! And Thorin is just...such a jerk in the original, but between Armitage and the writing, UNF. They're so much fun to write!

into six of his second-best glass goblets (no need to take foolish risks, after all).

Hee! It's so interesting to see the Dwarves in Bag End when they and Bilbo know each other so well...

"I saw smoke from your chimney and I thought--but where in the world have you been, Mr. Baggins?" The Bounder was sneaking curious glances at the dwarves, her eyes wide.

Oh, I like Portula! :)

Kíli had insisted on wearing a doily like a hat

*snorts*

He could hear Thorin undressing behind him and felt his face heating with more than wine--Don't be ridiculous, Baggins! he told himself sternly. You slept right next to each other for months on the road! Which was true, but somehow it was different having Thorin in his home, in his bedroom--

*flails and squees quietly*

Bilbo would have said it sounded happy, except he realized he had no idea what a happy Thorin would sound like.

He fell asleep still wondering.

Oh! Oh...

"How much would you like?"

"All of it," said Thorin.Ah, I really liked that line of Thorin's, somehow, I could really hear ( ... )

Hee! It's so interesting to see the Dwarves in Bag End when they and Bilbo know each other so well...

I know! I was a little surprised they were so nice to everyone, and then realized that in the movie they didn't know hobbits at all or respect them, but in this AU they've come to admire Bilbo and thus they're being extra-nice for his sake...

*flails and squees quietly*

Thorin and Bilbo quietly sharing a bedroom made me so happy!

Ah, I really liked that line of Thorin's, somehow, I could really hear him say it, you know?

Hee! And looking around the little grocery all Majestically while saying it. :)

*SQUEES* THORIN IN A WAISTCOAT AND CRAVAT, AHHHHHHHH! *falls over*

AHHHHH, it was so much fun to get him all dressed up, Star! I probably could have just described his clothes for a thousand words, lol, but I had to restrain myself somehow. He gets gray silk gloves made! *swoons*

I...I might put off posting the next chapter until after I see the movie, but I'm really anxious to get it posted! *dances*
