Aaaah! I have no idea what's going on within the series besides what you told me and yet this got me right in the angst. Aaaghh! *flails*

*grin* This series is so very angsty, and there's a lot of obsessive brooding...*swoons* I think the only context you're really need for this is knowing that just before Blake's temper tantrum he'd made a huge miscalculation and one of the crew got killed. Blake blamed himself and...well, everyone else blamed him too, especially Avon. I'm glad you liked the tone even with the details missing! :)

It isn't terribly difficult--any competent technician could do it. A description that fits exactly one person on the ship, Avon thinks with a smirk.

Blake whirls and his gaze lands on Avon.
For a long moment he stares, his face working, hatred glazing his eyes. Then he grabs up a bottle and hurls it at Avon's face with all his strength. Avon recoils involuntarily at the sound of shattering glass and Blake's voice snarling: "You. You.You!" Blake lunges forward, his fists battering; smears and splatters of scarlet appear in the air between them. Avon finds his arms thrown up in a warding gesture before he remembers that Blake can't reach him, that Blake can't touch him.

Blakes 7 is a really painful and difficult show--it ends really sadly! But Blake and Avon have such an amazing relationship, like Clark and Bruce but with both of them a lot more flawed. It leads to some really intense scenes in canon that this story only tries to match! :) I'm glad you could get some impression of them and their relationship from my story...

Wow! One of my favorite authors writing in one of my favorite fandoms: this is a treat indeed.

Thank you so much for writing and sharing this very perceptive insight into the head of one of the most fascinating and complex characters ever. Maybe you'll write more Blake's 7 stories in future. One can always hope!
