>>which makes photo-editing a rather undesirable pursuit at present try using your left hand :) it will be a very short period before you have the mouse in control.
I have considered that (I'm left-handed, so it should be easier for me to master left-handed mouse use than for most other people), but I'm kind of hesitant as the last thing I want is to get RSI in my left arm, too. Still, I guess it's an idea worth considering. If my right arm still feels bad after my upcoming holiday (four weeks during which I don't intend to spend much time at a computer), I'll give it a shot.
Not completely; can use it for everything except post-processing. Also, the shortcuts in most applications are optimized for using the mouse with the right hand and the keyboard with the left.
Which is exactly my problem. Both in my work and in photo-editing I HAVE to use the mouse with my right hand, even when using shortcuts. I can try using the the mouse with my left hand when surfing the web, but as long as I go on using my right hand when working and photo-editing, I fear it won't make much of a difference.
I'll give it a try, though. It's good to hear you've made it work for yourself!
I think the groovy colours are due to the film rather than to the camera, but other than that, I agree. I prefer the Holga ones, too (I nearly always do these days, which makes my filthy expensive Nikon a somewhat worrisome investment), and the half head is my favourite of the lot. I love arty-farty shots like that. They're silly but effective. :-)
I'm not familiar enough with my D300 yet to say I love it, but I know I'll love it to bits once I've got the hang of it. One thing I CAN say now is that I'm in love with its autofocus function. This probably sounds silly, but my old SLR was so old it didn't have autofocus, meaning I wasted a lot of time manually focusing each shot and missing out on quite a few good photo opportunities as a result. I love the fact that I now have a very good autofocus camera. I'm kicking myself for not getting one years ago. And actually having a telephoto lens (albeit a small one) is fun, too. :-)
Glad you like them! The pictures were taken at the Capitoline Museums, a beautiful if maddeningly inefficiently run collection of statues. These body parts are in a courtyard belonging to the museum. I couldn't get enough of them.

So, are you completely ambidextrous mouse-wise?
