Belsio's kind of a sorry sonovabitch, in my opinion, but really, he's coping pretty well. You've gotta remember that he was pretty lonely, missing Nash and living from letter to letter, even when Nash was alive, so now he's just kinda modified his emo. *squints*

okay, having 'ghost busters playing in the background kind of ruined the mood a bit, but.. anyway.

hurts so good. what gets me, mostly, is the mental shift of having to remember 'alphonse' is fletcher. that he recognizes them as nash's children, yet can't say anything about it to the 'elric' brothers.

Mmm, do you have any idea how confusing it was to write the wrong names? First, I kept writing "Fletcher" instead of "Alphonse," and then I got confused and Al's voice started taking over, which is not permitted ... *sigh* I'm glad it made your brain hurt, too. I was right about the "Elrics" being Russell and Fletcher! This story is so sad, you can feel the *emptiness* in Belsio's life -- and also, how powerless he feels to protect Russell and Fletcher from Mugear. I just wonder if *this* Russell and Fletcher will ever find out the truth about their relationship (the ones in the darkfic you did definitely knew it!)

Heehee, if you think about it, there's a huge hint in the very start of things ... Belsio looks at Al's eyes and thinks of Nash. Poor Armor Al doesn't have eyes, and we know it's that version of Al that Belsio meets first, in canon. ^_~

Mugear's a jackass and should be killed. Repeatedly. And painfully. As for the other question ... you'll have to wait and see! XD
