With the least said on the subject of "Merlinade" the better, I can also claim to have more pressing matters to see after. There's my office, primarily, which is no longer inhabitable thanks to Friday night's attacks on Knockturn Alley. The place is entirely water-logged, and while it appears that nothing of import was burnt to a crisp, several ( Read more... )

What a shame about your office. I do hope you are able to bring it back to reasonable condition.

I think we would all do well to avoid anything concocted by any member of the Weasley brood family.

Or there's always the option of moving. If things are going to continue on in an uproar over at Knockturn, perhaps there are better pastures out there somewhere.

Indeed. I never have been fond of twins. Inauspicious.

That is indeed an option, yes. Although for your sake I hope it does not come to that.

Too right. I am rather suspicious of the ginger haired as well.

Yes, and that makes ginger-haired twins particularly unlucky, as the mere existence of those two verifies.

I trust you wouldn't let the more precious items in your care out in the open where they could be damaged anyway.

Naturally.

You could've lied, though.

Why would I lie when I want you to know the truth.

Was there a terrible amount of damage? I'd hate to think of some of the things you had kept there being damaged.

And are you feeling better now? From the fumes I mean?

Not too much damage. There's just that unpleasant stench. I've been thinking that perhaps I no longer need an office. I can simply call on people, if they require my services. What do you think?

Yes, some. I drank some amber and had a rest at my room at Gran's. She wants to know if you need anything? Not sure what she means by that, but I'm relaying the question anyway.

I think that is a fine idea. After all, it was only the return of your father that really prompted you to seek alternative premises in the first place, and now that problem has been removed, there seems to be no reason why you should need to work away from home all of the time.

I'm not sure what your grandmother means either, but please send her my regards and thank her and tell her that no, I am fine. Quite fine.

Would you like to come by this evening? I can make you something if you are still suffering from the Muggle petrol and whatnot.

No, there really isn't a reason. I can just stay home with you and go where I'm needed, as I'm needed.

I have told her. She's still wrapping up some potions ingredients she thinks you will like. And you might, depending on what's in your stock right now.

I had planned on it, and I think a good rest will do me well.

Oh, also, I'm bringing Zombi II with me. He'd been living near the hearth in my office, but he doesn't like it there anymore.
