alas, if i was able to take you out for dinner i would. but it is too late now, and i don't have the money. but it's the thought that counts :)

But actually, only a few minutes after I posted that, a friend of mine called and I ended up telling her what I'd just written, more for humour value than anything. And she said "Oh hell, come over here and I'll take you out for dinner!" And she did -- to an all-you-can-eat East Indian buffet on the Danforth. There is nothing finer than an all-you-can-eat buffet when you've been low on groceries for several days... :-)
