In May of 2004, I had my heart set on getting a calico kitten to keep Goopie (who was a year old at the time) company. Halloween 2009
We went to the outdoor mall and did the store-to-store trick or treat thing first, since our neighborhood is pretty lame for trick or treating. Claudia wasn't into it at first. She soon learned that there was candy to be had, though, and now she's all about the trick or treating.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole--PSA
Tonight, I made King Ranch Chicken Casserole. It tasted Very Good, but was way too soupy as written, and didn't have enough spice (even for me). When I make it again, and I WILL be making it again, I will omit the 2C of chicken broth, add a 2nd can of Rotel (I use the mild version for the kiddos), sprinkle some chili powder throughout (or maybe ( Read more... ) -
