Tummy time

I like the new gastroenterologist. He listens and it didn't seem like I was getting the "you're just fat" vibe that you get from doctors. We're going to start off with getting an abdominal ultrasound to make sure I don't have fatty liver or spleen issues and also we're going to test for celiac and it's related issues just to cover our bases before ( Read more... )

Omg, like in Amelie when her dad thinks she has a heart condition? It is definitely real!

I eat that probiotic yoghurt, but, obviously not vegan! Good luck finding the magic foods. :)

I just haaaad to go down the rabbit hole looking up fatty liver disease and now I'm all paranoid. Ugh. Well I guess if it motivates me to do better about moving and losing weight, I guess it's something. Though I do like that one of the alternative treatments is to drink at least three cups of caffeinated coffee a day. That I can do (before noon lol)

I have some coconut milk yogurt I need to eat with some probiotic granola. Need to crack that open for lunch or dinner today. Also, my favorite probiotic food is kimchi. YUM. I did do some googling and found that this probiotic is highly rated and has different strains in one capsule so I ordered one to give it a go. It's expensive so if I don't feel any effects after taking the bottle, I'll try something else

Giiiirl noooo... But, at the same time, NO judgment, cuz I go down similar rabbit holes ALL the time. ;)

That's how many coffees I have!! All before 10 AM, in my case. :)

Good luck with it!! Fingers crossed for no side effects. *crosses*

The reason I'm so paranoid is that my grandfather died at age 40 in 1947 of cirrhosis. Granted, I heard he was an alcoholic but I could still be genetically vulnerable to liver disease (I very, very rarely drink and not to excess when I do)

I stopped by a deli this morning to get their good coffee and brought my oat creamer. I definitely made my quota already BZZZZZZZ

That's wonderful to hear the new GI doc is thorough. I hate the "you're fat" vibe too!
