I can't believe it's almost Christmas already! I haven't sent out a single card yet. So... don't expect any cards from me before Christmas. After-Christmas card, anyone?

I'm trying to do Christmas a bit differently this year. Or at least, I wanted to, but the more I think about what to give people

Good to hear from you! I just realised, remembering how slow RSA mail was last year, that the time has come and gone when it would make any sense in sending you a Christmas card. But hey: if you send me an After-Christmas card, I'll send you one.

No, haven't got yours yet, I'm sure it'll be here soon. We don't check the postbox very often so it might be there already.

Finding the right things to ask for Christmas can be tricky. I love ideas like Make Christmas Matter--we have so many things, and being able to give back is so important! I've asked for things from World Vision's gift catalogue before--chickens for a family in South America, medicine and survival kits for Africa, clothes for homeless, etc.

I always mean to get out Christmas cards, but have never quite succeeded... this year I just kinda gave up :P Good lick on your thesis! I'm praying for you!

World Vision sounds great! I googled them and found their gift catalogue - there's some great stuff there, I'll remember it for next year.
