Oh, you have facebook?
I understand if you don't want to give out too much info to someone you've only met online, but it would be cool to have you as a friend! You should look me up (Magdalen Thulson). I'm not sure if there's a URL I can send you, but I'm pretty sure you can just look up my name. I'm pretty new at it. :)
Also, those bears are so cute! That must've been really nice to come downstairs to.

A while ago I was going through a bad patch and I said to my mom that I just don't feel clever enough to finish this thesis
I went through that too, and I think all people who write a thesis at one time or another have that feeling of it being too big and complicated. It great to have family and friends (and teddy bears) at that time to support and motivate us. My only advice is start sooner rather then later... I am also a last-minute person... unfortunately I ended up spending an extra year finishing my MSc. :(

Which bookshop you work at again... I've been contemplating going to a HP book launch party since it will be my first and last time I can do so.

My problem is that I'm on my last year as it is, so I really need to get working now :( But yes, support from family and friends makes a huge difference!

I'm at Exclusive Books in Constantia Village. You're more than welcome to come! We're thinking of having a kind of pub quiz effort for the adults while the kids running around and being crazy. It would be nice to actually meet you in person :)

Nice to have you back. I hate facebook - it takes everyone away from LJ but has no actual content - it's all just people leaving 2-line msgs and inviting you to join stupid groups. LJ over facebook any day! ;)

Yeah, I know what you mean about Facebook, it does lack substance. But it's a cool way to stay in touch with RL friends who I wouldn't want reading my LJ. I'll always come back to LJ, though :)
