I am also keen on books but am surprised that you have time whilst doing your MA in Applied Linguistics. you are in Cape Town, aren't you? I have just started a doctorate with Macquarie U in Sydney in Applied Linguistics. I added you as a friend as I am married to a South African and we live in the United Arab Emirates where I teach. I would love to work in SA, where I holidayed a few years ago.

Hi! :)
I'm sort of on a break from my thesis at the moment. When I start again (next month probably) I'm going to have to read less :(
I can't imagine doing a Doctorate! This degree is already making me crazy! Good luck with it! :)

Ha! This year I'm going to do one of these too, and put it in my journal. All inspired by you!

No :( I guess it's not coming anymore. I was really looking forward to it. However, a friend of mine did once receive a postcard I sent from Spain 8 months afterwards, so there's still hope! I might get it in time for next Christmas..

Hi! I'm Jenn, the HP Crafts Database/Birthday Elf. I checked out your bio, and friended you because it's nice to meet another HP fan who is also an outspoken Chrisitan.

I can't wait to see your crafts, so be sure to post them on the HP Crafts Yahoo! Group Album!

Hi, nice to meet you! :) There are a handfull of us here, there's even a small community for Christian HP fans, but its not all that active.

I should warn you that I'm not as active online as I'd like to be (academia is getting the best of me). But I will hopefully soon have finished my Ravenclaw cut-off gloves, so I'll post a pic of those, and my HP costume for the DH release party (can't wait!).
