I pretty much gave it a shot for Eccleston and... yeah - we could have just about cut out any part of the film without him in it.

Joseph Gordon Levit was a very lackluster bad guy - though awesome before put in crazy makeup and the shitty plot. :P

It was like they told everyone that they were making a parody a la Scary Movie, but decided in post-production that they wanted to play it straight.

I'm digging the superhero ponies, especially Wonderpony's hair.

The second TSA-mocking video is in Chinese, btw, not Japanese. Which is too bad, because the Japanese don't mock often and I was kind of looking forward to see what they had come up with.

*sigh* Thank you. What I get for not listening to it with headphones. (It was at work, there were subtitles.... blahblah. Sorry. Thanks.)

Well, I'm functional in one and stupid in the other and it still took a...let's say 'a bit' for me to realize what I wasn't hearing. My first thought was 'damn, I am out of practice!'

I love the idea of there being an award for the most embarrassing sexual passage in literature. And I'd love to see the fanfic version. The idea kind of reminds me of the idea for the Snakey Awards, meant to commemorate the most egregious fuckups at the SGC (disguised in pretty language). The comments on the post are definitely worth a read.

And I'm amused that you are apparently as susceptible as I am to the lure of internet offerings that will waste your time.

I love the Canadian one! I fly out of La Guardia (NYC) about once a month, though, and so far absolutely nothing odd has happened on my way through security. Although, I fly out again on Wednesday, so we'll see what happens! :)

The joke is that the NYC airports have never been ones to give two flying figs about security. I've snuck wondrous things through Customs at JFK and LaGuardia's passenger inspection has never been more than cursory. The most awful thing I've had to do at LaGuardia is de-boot.

Now Toronto... nothing says how friendly Canadians are than having a strange woman stick her hands down your skirt without warning -- while standing in a public place -- so she can check to make sure I'm not carrying anything inside the waistband of my pantyhose.
