I talked my friends into going to go see Cats with me next month. I am an uncultured girlie, most of my experience with stage performances involve a cafeteria filled with elementary, junior high, and high school kids. I've seen The Phantom of the Opera (while I was in London during the summer) and The Nutcracker. I almost made it to Rent and Hedwig ( Read more... )

And this is where I ask about the status of phluphee's Two West (I just discovered her website) because I can never find the right moment to slip it into a comment. What's up with Two West? =)

It's my epic work in progress...I'm trying to knock off my stupid, inept, mystery fic...then I will be putting all my effort into Two West and Slick's Journal...Plus, I want to start writing the innerchild notebook diaries as well...

What do you think of Two West? Do you like?

Definitely, definitely. There should have been some sort of warning on there. Dear Miss Lurker, this fic is not finished but I haven't abandoned it. Don't be sad. Phlupee. =P

Debbie's a drag queen. Michael looks like Hal Sparks. Michael and Brian plus bratty Justin. Ha ha! I like how the character's are so different but still react to each other the in the same way. I also like the multiple character narration and the fact that the story is told out of order sometimes (like the Michael morning after scene). The beach scene was awesome, I must say, and the morning after was hilarious. I will be waiting for you to start this again.

Slick's journal and the inner child notebook diaries. Good stuff. When I got done reading the innerchild!fic I really wanted to know what was in the notebook, guess I get to find out.

i should def put..WIP huh? sorry about that...you'll get lots and lots of chapter soon...since "the fic that wouldn't die" is finally dead...

cool! thanks! i often wonder if people think it's too confusing...so thanks for validating that my weird stream of consciousness style is working...

More Slick too...I feel so much happier now that I can actually focus on fic that I love...yeah!!!

That sounds like something that needs to be put on an icon with pretty pictures. =P

I'm being awfully rude asking you this and I'm sorry, but I think you're the ideal person (because you're lurker like me and because you seem to be 'gentle' :)): could you read take a look at something I've written? It's not long so you won't suffer ... much, I swear. :D

Once again, I'm sorry for asking something like this. If you can't, for whatever reason, it's more than ok! I'll totally understand (well, I have to, lol!).

Hey, feel free to send me what you've got. I'd love to read it. I don't know if I am any good at critiquing but I'll gladly give it a shot. =)

My email address is in my profile. I won't be able to read it until tomorrow morning though because I am super tired from staying up and doing my papers and I don't treat fics fairly when I'm tired.
