If the day before a vacation is a vacation and, in the case of two days off or more in a row, the day before the day before a vacation is a vacation, then the afternoon after a morning of meetings and before the day before the day before a vacation is as good a time as any to open up the request line.

Emily does not doubt that it was the right decision at the time. She was fifteen, her mother was in a high-profile job (in a field where an embarrassing child could be a career-killer), and it would have destroyed them both.

That does not mean that she has no regrets.

She always assumed there'd be other chances, but there haven't been.

Her baby would be in college now.

I was re-watching that scene recently as background for a fic I'm writing and this sounds very much like the kind of regrets Prentiss might have, even while not questioning her decision (which I don't think she does).
