communism, to broadly paraphrase, is 'everything will be so much better and fairer if only everything was shared.'

Of course the people saying this are of course the people who believe it will work and largely 'know best'. I mean you can't just have random sharing, you need someone to control it all.

Or to put it another way, '*I* know what is best.'

So you end up with an organisation where someone who 'knows best' sits up the top and makes sure all the wealth is evenly spread out. In effect desire for wealth is replaced with desire for control.

Remember, in a worker's paradise you are still JUST a worker and also find me a member of a communist or socialist group who doesn't expect to be in a position of authority when the revolution comes.
