I think there's a hint of that, and also a huge chunk of wayyy older brother meets grown-up little sister, hence the (also) really dysfunctional nature of their relationship.
I HAD A QUESTION FOR YOU!!! Do you think we're supposed to be getting an undertone that Eleven is, like, on the edge of falling for or capable of falling for Amy? I wondered that after Amy's Choice because...if the Dream Lord is really him (which I'm more willing to believe now; I'll tell you about that later) then he wanted Amy to "choose him," and that seemed to be more than a "super fun traveling buddies" thing.

AMY:
Hmm...well, here's one. Bow ties, get rid!
DOCTOR:
Bow ties. Are. Cool.
This was precious.

The Doctor-in-a-towel scene.
I was kind of disturbed. Ahahahahah. WHY do so many people think he's so attractive? He's cute but I dunno, he's kind of awkward looking. Hahaha.

Wow I didn't even notice the 11 on his jersey. Embarrassing. But I thought there was something wrong with my download too!!! xD

WHAT IS THAT PICTURE????
Disgusting.

IF THAT DOESN' ( ... )

Your q#1: I don't think so. I think, when the Dreamlord was taunting Amy about choosing the Doctor's 'reality', it was more about screwing with Amy's mind then actually the Doctor's inner thoughts about Amy. I'd hazard a guess that after all the Doctor's experiences with his many companions, he's sure to realize what some of them thought about (Hello Rose? Martha? Ding ding!). Plus, and this might be the defining factor for my answer, the Doctor first met Amy when she was 9 (or 7? I can't remember) so THAT particular connection is the one that would stay with him the strongest, the Doctor rescuing a little girl from the scary crack in the bedroom wall. Because he quite literally (in his own time) return straight after that, and was horrified to find that wee Amelia turned into a kissogram Amy. So that first meeting between the two would still be stuck fresh in his mind. Therefore, no, I don't think it will go there ( ... )
