The most surprising part of this, for me, is your love of Love Actually! Not that I've ever seen the whole thing. But isn't it a bit, er, risque?...
Detractors will say it is rubbish oversentimentality, but I think it's more of the humanness that Russell had in his era. THIS. I'd put money on this being RTD's favorite ep of this series.
I absolutely loved the scene when the three of them were looking up into the sky, observing the starry night. Ohhh my gosh, me too. It was so beautiful. this whole episode had me shedding tears on and off, and this bit especially.
All memory of Rory erased, but the lingering effects are still there -- her crying without knowing she was doing so and without knowing why. I couldn't even breathe.
Karen Gillan's finest acting yet? Maybe. Van Gogh discovering his art being appreciated ... brilliant. The Doctor more in the background, but every ready to provide the perfect words.I was BAWLING. It was so beautiful. I was so touched. Mmmf. My shoooooooooow

Okay, maybe I should've put my favourite movie is the censored-and-non-risque version of Love Actually that I recorded and first watched off the telly. I fell in love with that story first. :p Because it was all about PEOPLE, Padsie, and they were all wonderful. It's like this episode except with more people and no time machine.
Mmmf. My shoooooooooow. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. My shooooooooooooooow. ♥
I think the invisible monster was supposed to be like a parallel to Van Gogh's depression...? I dunno, that seems a bit "pfffft" to me. That's what I thought it was ... and then there were no other explanations about it and I was all "pfffffft" too.
I am loving the blues and orange in this layout. So many people around me have gorgeous layouts. It makes me want to change mine...again. But not really because I do like mine!....
Ahhh, all right. See he also did Notting Hill I found out on another comm, and I love THAT for the peopleism, so I completely understand. :D
