I've always preferred Venice and romantic getaways on gondolas and ships in Europe as opposed to beaches. The beach is paradise, but there's something about sand getting everywhere at the most inopportune times. I'm coming to like the beach more. It's still nowhere near my Venice fantasies, but like any place, it depends only on the company ( Read more... )

I read some book once that said anger was a wasted emotion because it's fruitless.

Certainly you don't miss me.

I love the beach, I live 20 feet away from it. And Venice is wonderful, I've been there 4 times.

I love Australia, London, New York, anyplace, too many places. I could call a shack in the Sahara home if it was with the right people. Is it? I'm just waiting to be swept off my feet and taken there sometime.

I just got back from London, it's now my 2nd favorite place besides Malibu. Yes, eveyrthing is so beautiful in Venice. Well all of Italy is kind of like my 2nd home. I believe they call Venice "Veneto" over there..

Of course there is a Venice here in California, but it's dull.

London is very easy to get sucked into, almost like a swirling vortex that snatches in anything that gets too near. I hear Venice is the lovers' city even moreso than Paris. Everything's pronounced differently in Italian; more fragile and beautiful.

Careful, Arnold's replying in this thread, he loves his California. ;)

It's not California, is it?

No, and I'm not sure why it's not.

I'll need as much help as I can get with this campaign. Stop in California sometime for a press opportunity and dinner.

Dinner is enough reason to lure me to Cali. I haven't been there for too long, anyway. Name your time and place.
