03. Ummm... I'm a 19 year old nerd (Star Wars, Comics, Harry Potter,
Star Trek, Professional Wrestling, Doctor Who, Sliders, Stephen King, Silent Hill to name a few obsessions ) that's into politics. I really like reading/watching something and finding analogies to use in my classes. That way everyone can relate to a certain subject. Politics has always interested me because it's something that I can take a stand on, be a bit pig-headed, and it's expected. Since I found out about you through a harry potter community, let me drop a quick reference. Order of the Phoenix is my favorite book (and movie) because of the political messages (like a tyrannical government). Now, even if you don't want me as a friend, I was wondering if you were conservative or liberal or neither? Oh and I love movies!

I'm not entirely sure on my political stance. I like to consider myself liberal, as I'm very obsessed with my own individual rights, but then there are these glaring exceptions to the rule.

I am a liberal. Some people in my town (I live in Oklahoma) think I'm an extremist, and I would have to agree that I am on a few issues, like healthcare, censorship (I hate it), and things like that.

I make my banners using photographs (either stock photos, or stuff from my own camera) and photoshop CS. Or, in the case of that first 'Sorting It Out' banner, I used a drawing off google images and edited it in photoshop. :D

All those banners were made in different ways. However, the basics of them are:
-400x100 pixels
-color adjustment/contrast
-layers with overlay blur effects
-text with outer glow or stroke
-black border set to 50%

I'm so glad you liked them! <3 I'm hoping to make more community-themed graphics in different sizes. AIM and MSN icons, livejournal avatars, etc.
