A cutting from Chapter 10 In our book Chapter 10 deals with savings, and we talk about a few different savings methods.  The Bank Bar is something that I used with moderate success for several years, but I think it's a little convoluted for most people.

I set up an HSA (Health Savings Account) this week.  It's a pre-tax account which can be used to pay for Medical expenses.  The cool thing about an HSA is the money you don't use stays in your account and rolls on from year to year through your retirement.  You can withdraw HSA money for any purpose, but there's an extra tax for things that are not ( Read more... )
