1) I gave Pandora a bath, as she hasn't had one since January. Actually I've never had a cat that I bathe before, but Pandora just brings out the oochie-coochie cat owner in me. Cairo's a much better place to live in than to visit, I reckon. The large part of the tourist experience here is just hideous!

Your story about the cat made me laugh out loud. Which is wrong of me but it's just the way you put it...

Wet animals are ridiculous. The instant skinnyness makes their eyes look like giant, sad boulders.

I believe that's how the tradition originated, before it got cleaned up by the authorities in BC 1000 for fear of putting off the tourists.

And Pandora is already ridiculous. Just imagine.
