Kate wanders downstairs, tiredly running a hand through her hair. The instant she reaches the landing, she finds her fingers brushing cold fiberglass rather than soft hair

William's at a table watching all the costumes, there are circles under his eyes since his dream bothered him but he's rather more comfortable in his outfit.
Well, she does, but seeing as so many people share his face around these parts, she's not sure if she's met whoever it is she's looking at. She takes the helmet off, looking a whole lot more like herself now, and squints in the direction of his table.
Ben stares at her a little jealous as she seems to have gotten the rest of the costume in an envelope Bar had given him. He automatically looks over her suit for rank and insignia before offering her a casual but respectful salute.
Her rank is captain, though that may not be readily visible on this particular flight suit. If Ben comes close, there may be the telltale patches on her shoulders.
She notices his attention, and without really thinking about it she returns the salute.
Her lips curl wryly. She hasn't had time to order herself a stiff drink yet, though when she sees Coral and hears Guppy's hushed words she does her best at putting on a bright expression.
There are dark circles under her eyes, and she looks a little worn out. These are things a little'un shouldn't notice, hopefully.
"Miss Coral, you're jus' as cute as a lil' button. Hello, Alex. No costume tonight?"

For a moment, Hal Jordan is actually speechless.

She shakes out her hair, and the highly-tuned feeling of someone watching her leads her gaze to Hal.

Hal is coming on over, hardly believing his luck (being Hal, after all).
Unfortunately, he happens to be forgetting what he's wearing.

"Have - have we met?"
There's something oddly familiar about him, though she can't tell if that's her memories or the costume talking.

He shifts a chair out for her, he's figured out how to sit with the sword.

She smirks. There's a subtle difference in her voice tonight.
"All Hallows Eve ain't treatin' you terrible, is it?"
She can match the dark circles under his eyes with her own.

Kate stares at him for a long moment.
"Master Enzo?"
Part of her is hoping he won't answer.

There's a muffled, "oh my." Followed by what's more than likely laughter. She pulls the helmet off with little fuss, shaking her hair out behind her.
"You're - oh. Now that's just foul play."

They seem to have been exempted from the costumes. Well, except for Coral, who has got a jumper hand knitted like a pumpkin.
"I'm working on showing Fry that costumes aren't scary." he whispers.

"I don't like costumes." Alex says. "They make people look bad."
"Well people wear different clothes all the time." Guppy says.
Fry nods. Annoying that people do that, too.

"I think, as far as Miss Bar's concerned, people are supposed to look funny."
Her voice is a little stronger than usual. Same Texas drawl, but without the mannered gentleness.
"Or be confused. One or the other."
