It did get chilly on the east coast, there was no denying that. Will's also over by the fire mainly just watching it and in his mind planning what's going to be needed in Sherwood.

The bruise over his right eye has almost faded but he still holds himself with a good bit of pain.

It was a look that Gatsby recognized. (He'd been in a war; men never forgot experiences like that.)

He didn't speak up, however, simply choosing to watch Will with a mild curiosity that, should it need be, could be passed up as a short glance.

After a moment Will notices the glance and nods the other man, there's something comforting about being near the fire.
