There are reasons why someone might consider Jono lucky; not many, but they're there. From time to time, he even considers himself lucky; he's alive, after all. There are many more reasons to consider him unlucky; his lack of torso being one of the most immediately evident among them

Penny would term him 'lucky', after all, she liked the Bar. It was a safe, good place...and he made a far more comfortable entrance than she did!

What she wasn't exactly sure of though would be her welcome. It was why she didn't leave her seat, her sand table, and her plate of apples to rush over to him. The best term might be indecisive as she fidgeted quietly.

He was here. He was safe.

He...thought she was the twins.

She settled for waving.

Still, she's a familiar - and distinctive - sight in this strange place, and so she catches his eye as he starts to (cautiously) look around.

"Pen-- Uh, I mean--"

Hard to hide a Penance? Even wrapped in black kevlar spandex? Yeah...true.

She tilted her head at his hesitant confusion and sighed, dropping her gaze back to what she was working on. Then? She chimed at him, a translator at her wrist finally sighing out "Penny. My name is Penny."

Any concerns of naming confusion go out the window for the moment for one thing--

"You can talk! How'd they manage that, then? I'm real happy for you-" and he is, he really is "-but... how? And, uh, where are we?"

He shifts a little uncomfortably, looking around again.

Dude, it's explody-face-man.

Molly's torn between run-mustn't-fight and curiosity, so she settles for peeping at him over her milkshake from where she's sitting near the fire.

It doesn't take him long to notice someone looking at him.

"Somethin' I can help y'with, luv?"

Molly thinks to duck back away, then thinks better of it.

"You can't fight in here," she informs him. "'s against the rules."

That gets a raised eyebrow.

"Isn't it usually?"
