Dethklok's manager walked into Milliway's.  It was actually a few days his time after his last visit.  But something seemed to poke at him to cross over that night.  Now.  He had a tendency to act on those feelings.  They had kept him and the band alive in the past ( Read more... )

What Charles eventually had on him was best described as the clingiest Rock God in History.

Toki usually knew not to invade Charles' personal space, but right now, he had about twenty minutes to become frantic and think over things, and become frantic some more.

"You ain'ts hurts thanks de gods." He whined, clinging to Ofdensen like a rather overgrown, fu manchu'd piece of lint.

"What? Toki, what is wrong?" Charles half turned to the hyper Norwegian.

Toki normally had a lack of.... attention to personal space. But there was something in the way the young man hung on that set off alarms. Not an "Alert! Attackers!" mode, but something had bothered the guitarist.

Only once Ofdensen was certain there was no attack right then did he register what Toki said.

"No, I'm fine. Other than being tired. What is going on?"

"You looks like hell an' you kiss me on de lips an' den you walks away an' I couldn'ts finds you an' den I thinks about goings and findings you at home but I knows dat I'd gets distracted so I waits for you to comes here an' you gots to helps!"

"Calm down, Toki." Charles patted the brunette's arm. "Sit down and tell me about what happened calmly. From the beginning. Do you want a drink?"

The manager looked around and found a small table was opening up near them. (Amazing how they did that when needed.) He moved the two of them to it and placed an order with the wait rat.

Ohai Charles! Have a Native American legend-goddess.

In other words, it wasn't long before a young-ish woman wearing a pair of battered jeans and a vintage-styled tee (this one, like most of them, advertising somewhere called The Turquoise Place with 'the best corn cakes in nine territories') poured herself into his lap, "Well well well, was wondering where you went."

She might not, this should be pointed out, actually know him, but then again, she might.

Charles' eyebrows rose towards his hairline.

"Excuse me, young lady? Do I know you?" But he made no immediate move to push her from his lap.

There was pouting, so, so much pouting.

Though it was followed by a grin and what could only be called an eyebrow waggle, "Nope." The barest pause, "Want to?"

The narration feels the need to point out that Ana really isn't like this all the time, she's just been having a good day.

The manager looked her over. "Perhaps. But I do have a nervous Norwegian on my hands right now. Later perhaps?"
