Roshaun doesn't know what Christmas is, or even really that it exists.

This would be why he's currently sitting on a stool, eyeing the decorations with some confusion.

"Greetings," Teja says, recognising the young sorcerer as he passes by Roshaun's stool.

He has just been delivering the note for Yrael about the ship to the bar, and got a large mug of tea as he was inside anyway.

But he's in leather forge clothes, not armour.

"It is a midwinter holiday in this place."

"Dai'stiho", he returns. "That would explain it. Everyone here observes it?"

"Let's say - almost everyone here observes some sort of midwinter holiday; there are many," Teja says. "It was already like that in my time. The Christians had Nativity, the last heathens among us had Yule, the last pagan Romans had the Saturnalia, and many minor cults had many minor festivals."

"My people don't mark holidays that way", Roshaun informs him. "Ours are to do with the sun, but not the time of year."
